To ensure that Scouts and Scouters who may be inducted into the Order of the Arrow in the future do not have their experience lessened or spoiled, all of the material on the "Jumpstart for New Arrowmen" area of the national OA web site is password protected.
The Order of the Arrow, recognizing the attractiveness of the unknown, utilizes the form of mystery. This shall not be interpreted, however, as justifying the withholding of any information regarding the Order from any person legitimately interested in investigating its nature, purpose, or method. Nothing in the Order shall be interpreted as interfering with any member's religious obligation.
If anyone has questions about this policy, or about the Order of the Arrow, they
should contact their local Boy Scout Council or Lodge Adviser.
The password is the fifth word of the title on page 10 of the OA Handbook
(use all lower case letters, no spaces, no quotes, no punctuation). This
password was chosen so that a new member could easily find it, and access the
"Jumpstart for New Arrowmen" area of the national OA web site, using his OA

browser, you will be need to re-enter the password each time you move between
pages on the site. Most browsers allow a user to allow or disallow cookies as
